It is no mystery that 18-wheelers can cause harm in a major way when the driver is negligent. A lot of times, the insurance providers that insure these trucks are difficult to find. You probably also require serious medical attention. Since the policies that insure these trucks tend to be higher, that means the insurance company has more to lose and so you better believe they will be speaking with a lawyer to limit their exposure as much as possible. WRONGFUL DEATH
It is so unfortunate that wrongful deaths occur but the reality is, they do. Having lost a loved one due to the negligence of someone else is a horrible feeling. Were you struck by a motor vehicle while riding your bike? It is a very unfair fight between a bicycle and a motorized vehicle. You may be severely injured and need immediate medical care. UNINSURED ACCIDENTS
It is very unfortunate how many people are driving around without car insurance. It is estimated that 12.6% of all drivers on the road in Georgia do not have insurance coverage. In my opinion, the penalties for not having insurance are not severe enough. HIT AND RUN ACCIDENTS
If you are injured by someone in an accident and they flee the scene, we may be able to recover punitive damages against that person. That means your claim would have more value. We would need to prove that the Defendant's actions were malicious and that they did not care about the consequences of their actions. A dog that seems friendly may quickly change its mind. I have handled some horrible dog bite cases with great success. It can be tricky to establish insurance coverage, however. DIMINISHED VALUE CLAIMS
A diminished value claim recovers the difference in the value of your car before the accident and the repaired value after the accident. Typically, being in an accident lowers the value of your vehicle and a diminished value claim seeks to solve this problem. I will determine the amount of your car's diminished value, file a claim on your behalf, and communicate and negotiate with the insurance company to ensure a fair recovery.
